What'd we get?

Crazy kid practically dove into the ocean when we got there. That's my favorite quality of Gavin's.... his enthusiasm for life. Man, if we could bottle that stuff up and give it to people, we could have world peace .

Disneyland!

Gavin's big birthday present was a trip to Disneyland! Compliments of Papa Henry. We got there around 8 am, went to the Disneyland city hall , got a birthday pin and at every ride they said Happy Birthday to Gavin! Made a dash for Pirates of the Caribeean, which ended up being Gav's favorite ride of the day. We got to go on that, the Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Tom Sawyers Island, Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, King Arthur's Carousel, Mad Tea Party Cups, Snow Whites Scary Adventures, Disneyland Railroad, Gadgets Go Coaster . We met Mickey Mouse and Puto! We even managed to fit in the Disneyland Parade and ended the day with dinner at the Rainforest Cafe. Poor Gavin was so tired and overwhelmed that he requested we leave dinner and go home.." This is the jungle, not home. I need to go home."

I can not believe Gavin is four years old already. I know before I can blink an eye, he will be 5 and ready for kindergarten. He came into our lives not that long ago and has made such a huge impact on us . I know every parent thinks their child is the best but I honestly know ( because I only know how to be honest) that he is amazing. He is so kind, smart, creative and hilarious!

For his fourth birthday we were very lucky to have a small pizza party for close family and neighbors. It was a little tight in our tiny house but lots of fun! Gavin requested Pizza and strawberry cupcakes this year .....
