I love being a stay at home mommy. I am so lucky to be able to spend so much quality time with my babies BUT it can be a challenge to come up with interesting and creative ways to have fun together everyday. Thankfully Auntie Monique gave Gavin Play-Doh last time she came over. I think it was a hit!Learning to identify our letters and spell ....

22 questions

This was hilarious. I asked Gavin 21 questions (plus a bonus one!) to get to know him a little better. He is pretty silly. Here are his answers, transcribed verbatim:

1. What makes you happy? Uhm. Bugs. and fish.

2. What makes you sad? when daddy leaves.

3. What makes you laugh? Tiny-saurus ( I'm guessing this is the T-rex on Dinosaur Train since he was watching it when I started asking these questions.)

4. What is your favorite thing to do? To eat.

5. What are you really good at? Being silly and at running.

6. What are you not very good at? I'm very good at everything.

7. What is your favorite food and drink? Sushi and sprite. Can we go to sushi?

Update on Drake's heart murmur

The doctor said that it was good news ( After 5 hours of bouncing around from room to room) that Drake just has a slightly thinner valve in one of his arteries that sounds differently than the rest but will not affect him in anyway. It's completley normal and just something that some people are born with.

He does have an artery, behind his esophagus , that the blood rushes the opposite way its supposed to. This may cause him to have trouble swallowing when he is ready for solid foods but the chances of that being a problem are very rare.... We'll go back to children's in SD for more testing when he's 6 months old to see if that will be a problem down the road. Other than that he is a healthy 9lbs 2oz and 21 1/2 inches of chubby baby. :)
