Creepy Creatures

Gavin was watching a National Geographic special called Creepy Creatures. It was about animals that kill their prey in unique ways. Well the vampire bats were on and I noticed Gavin sitting behind the couch hiding.

A- Gavin what are you doing?
G- Mommy, you know I a scaredy boy!

I'm glad he can acknowledge those parts of his personality and not be ashamed of them because I think it is very important thing to know who you are , accept it and move on . :)

Melody Magic

I think Gavin found his niche in the world with theater class. He loved singing and dancing  A LOT. He was a little disappointed to find out there would be no formal stage. I hope next time he will actually let the teacher teach because he led the whole class in yoga. I have no idea where he gets all that confidence from but I want some!

How lucky are we to have gotten free tickets to Legoland?  We had lots of fun. Gavin's favorite rides of the day were the roller coasters.

Time flys...

It seems like time just flys by! I can not keep up with these two kids. They have so much energy and are growing so fast!  Drake is 7 months old.... when did that happen? He is crawling all over the house, pulling himself up onto furniture and can stand for a few seconds with no hands! He loves jabbering away and I'm pretty sure his two top teeth are coming in.

Gavin has an unending abundance of love and excitement for life. He just finished his swim classes and just received a new belt in karate, two yellow stripes! He makes friends wherever he goes and when we need to get some "power" out Gavin and I take a run around the block.

Wild Lever Brothers

Gavin watches this show " Wild Krattz Brothers" on PBS Kids, its about 2 brothers who are zoologists and they travel the world studying animals . So this has become Gavin's new aspiration is to be the " Wild Lever Brothers" with Drake. I really think he could do it . He's incredibly smart, he loves animals and learning and the other day he was narrating his dinosaurs like a Discovery show!


G: The Spinosaurus is approaching the Stegosaurus ready to attack but the Stegosaurus fights back! Swinging his spiky tail the Spinosaurus backs off but this fights not finished! They start to roar..." ROAAARRRRR!"


He's a genius!
