A Favor

Gavin:  " Mommy, I need a favor. I need you to get me a baguette."

Who knew?

 Who knew we would have such creative children? Drake actually stops what he is doing when he hears music. He will stop and sing , rock back and forth dancing or make a beeline to where its coming from.Sometimes he sounds like Led Zepplin. We love seeing his little personality emerging. We can't wait to see what this love for music evolves into.

Gavin is an actor as soon as he learns to take directions...well, i think he'll be exactly where he wants to be... on stage! He loves being in front of the class, singing and showing everyone how its done.

3rd Anniversary

kayaking la jolla sea caves! Next time we're snorkeling with leopard sharks!

The boys have not been feeling very well. Drake has had a fever, cough and been whimpering. Gavin has had a runny nose and feeling pretty "yucky"  but they both manage to still stay cute!

Creepy Creatures

Gavin was watching a National Geographic special called Creepy Creatures. It was about animals that kill their prey in unique ways. Well the vampire bats were on and I noticed Gavin sitting behind the couch hiding.

A- Gavin what are you doing?
G- Mommy, you know I a scaredy boy!

I'm glad he can acknowledge those parts of his personality and not be ashamed of them because I think it is very important thing to know who you are , accept it and move on . :)

Melody Magic

I think Gavin found his niche in the world with theater class. He loved singing and dancing  A LOT. He was a little disappointed to find out there would be no formal stage. I hope next time he will actually let the teacher teach because he led the whole class in yoga. I have no idea where he gets all that confidence from but I want some!
